open for all registered participants of jazzahead!
The times when music could be easily put into a box are long gone. Jazz and improvised music evolve, mix with other genres and create new sub-genres. Many artists on the line-up of contemporary jazz festivals move on the fringes of jazz to adjacent genres such as pop, R&B, soul, rock, electro, hip hop, techno, classical and more. As part of the CLUBNIGHT Talk, we talk to Sera Kalo and her agent Uwe Hager from o-tone music about current developments in jazz festival booking.
