Montréal-based CODE Quartet is a powerhouse collective of four of Canada’s leading jazz composers and improvisers. The chord-less quartet features original compositions that draw from each member’s unique background, creating an organic dialogue and a diverse, refined soundscape. Jensen has racked up numerous awards, incl. two Junos. Vedady and Doxas have lent their artistry to jazz greats such as Carla Bley, Dave Douglas and Marc Copland. Events on the trade fair programme can only be attended with prior registration for the trade fair.
Tickets can be purchased for the events and concerts of the festival – including the showcases.
There are no individual tickets for the opening ceremony on Thursday, 27 April at 1 p.m. The event is open to registered trade visitors and holders of a regular festival ticket.
