Scottish pianist-composer Fergus McCreadie is a complete musician, a passionate communicator and consummate performer. Playing jazz reflecting Scotland’s landscape and musical traditions, as well as his American and Scandinavian influences, McCreadie graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018 and immediately made a huge impact on the European scene. His trio, with bassist David Bowden and drummer Stephen Henderson, has won numerous awards and the influential Dutch website Written in Music described their second album “Cairn” (Edition, 2021) as “an extraordinary album, an absolute highlight in contemporary jazz.” Fergus’s brand-new album “Forest Floor”, the follow-up to “Cairn”, is out now. It is set to be the release that puts him onto the world stage. Fergus McCreadie appears courtesy of Edition Records. Fergus McCreadie (p), David Bowden (db), Stephen Henderson (dr)
