JD Hive is his quartet with Sebastian Schneider, Andreas Waelti and András Dés. Vienna-born, Curtis (Philadelphia)-trained, and a founder member of radio.string.quartet.vienna, Dickbauer ‘s musical vocabulary is characterised by an unmistakable spirit of adventure – playfully fusing classical, folk, jazz and rock elements.
