MARTIN SASSE TRIO (DE)
The trio around Martin Sasse, one of Europe’s leading jazz pianists, has existed in changing formations for over 25 years. Already the first album “Here we come” (2000) received best international reviews. In the current line-up Martin Sasse has been playing with Markus Schieferdecker (b) and Joost van Schaik (dr) for many years. Frequently they collaborate with international jazz stars like Peter Bernstein, Vincent Herring, Steve Grossmann and Harry Allen. The album “Good Times” with Charlie Mariano received the Quarterly Prize of the German Record Critics in 2010.

There are no individual tickets for the opening ceremony on Thursday, 27 April at 1 p.m. The event is open to registered trade visitors and holders of a regular festival ticket.
