Ofer Mizrahi is a multi-disciplinary creator. His distinct style is a fusion of Jazz, Folk and Eastern Music—a reflection of both his nomadic journey through life and passion for the visceral beauty of sound. Mizrahi designed and built the 24-string Whale Guitar, a modified version of the Indian slide guitar, combining acoustic and electronic sounds and layered overtones. He played to a TV audience of 182 million as a member of the Idan Raichel Project, the interval act at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. Mizrahi’s trio, with cellist Mayu Shviro and bassist David Michaeli, plays music that explores musical expression where Western, Turkish, Indian music and jazz enter into a spontaneous and sensual dialogue.Ofer Mizrahi (g, tpt, voc), Mayu Shviro (clo), David Michaeli (db)
