During his lifetime, Pianist Glenn Gould impressed people all over the world with his musical genius – and the fascination with him and his work continues after his death in 1982. The film uses previously unpublished video and audio recordings and interviews with Gould’s closest friends, many of whom have never spoken about him on camera before. Additional archived material and excerpts from the artists own journal manage to break through the myth and get us closer to Gould as person, showing his thoughts on music, art, society, love and life.
