The three jazz musicians Joachim Kühn, Majid Bekkas and Ramón López are fulfilling their dream of realizing a special music project in Morocco. They want to bring together Gnawa music from the edge of the Sahara with their European jazz for a CD. To do this, they travel to the Moroccan desert and play with a group of traditional drummers. They invite other musicians to their small studio in Rabat. The meeting of the different styles and cultures does not always go smoothly, and the film shows the work that can go behind a successful recording.Introduction: Karl-Heinz Schmid, KuratorDirecting: Christoph Hübner & Gabriele VossD 2014, 84 Min, OmUTickets At the box office: The box office opens half an hour before the first screening, or +49 (0)421 / 957 9920 (voice box, only possible until the day before)Tickets: EUR 9 / reduced EUR 5.50
