LRK Trio (RU)

LRK Trio are: Evgeny Lebedev - piano, Anton Revnyuk - bass, Ignat Kravtsov - drums.
Their first album together, though not yet as LRK Trio, was titled Open Strings (Butman Music Records, 2015) and was credited only to Lebedev and Revnyuk - though drummer Kravtsov also played on it. But it wasn't until 2017 that their second album (credited to LRK Trio and titled If You Have a Dream) became a big hit in Europe and elsewhere. The latest album, Memory Moment, was released in December 2020.
LRK Trio are very modern in their sound - the way they play and sound is unmistakably 21st century; but they never let their listeners forget that they come from the distinctive, globally influential musical culture of their native Russia, which is integrated into the global music scene and is distinctly original and recognizable.
