In cooperation with the Senate Chancellery and supported by the Senator for Culture, jazzahead! is presenting improvised music and jazz from Bremen's twin cities to mark the 20th anniversary of jazzahead! Festival.
Latvian saxophonist Artūrs Sebris brings soulful, groove-driven jazz from his debut album Nora, moving between funk, classic swing and contemporary ballads. Singer Santa Šillere adds a strong narrative flow to the music, with her colorful vocal range and knack for storytelling. Both are strongly connected to Riga, the capital of Riga.

Bremen and the Latvian capital Riga have enjoyed a close partnership since 1985 and last year the cities celebrated 40 years of signing the partnership agreement. More about the city-partnership here.
