After pianist Martin Hederos (Tonbruket, The Soundtrack of Our Lives) assembled his dream band, Hederosgruppen quickly became one of Sweden’s most hyped jazz acts. The quintet is a true democracy, with all members composing. It’s jazz, but above all playful, communicative music - eclectic, groovy, and full of passion. Since 2020 they’ve released three acclaimed albums and played multiple sold-out tours in Sweden. Their album “Ståplats“ (2022) won every major Swedish jazz award, including a Swedish Grammy. Their new live album will be out worldwide in April 2026.
