Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (2027)
In 2027 jazzahead! trade fair and festival will have the three Baltic states as partner region.
jazzahead! is looking forward to the Partner Region Baltic States in 2027
Every year in April, the jazzahead! Festival takes place in parallel to the jazzahead! trade fair in Bremen. Together with numerous cooperation partners, we organize a city-wide music program around the world’s largest meeting place for the jazz scene. In addition to the showcase festival, the programem includes the opening, the CLUBNIGHT and a fringe programme.
In 2027, the focus will be on countries that are closely intertwined geographically, historically and culturally: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The Baltics aim to present themselves as a “unified export force in jazz” – whilst emphasising their unique characteristics. From April 22 to April 24 we can observe the jazz szene of this strong music region. The Baltic States were selected as partner countries in order to promote artistic exchange between this very interesting region and Germany in connection with the important topic of green touring.

Since 2011 jazzahead! presents an annually changing partner region in the scope of the fair, but also within a city-wide cultural program aimed at the public in Bremen & region. The partner region is chosen and invited by jazzahead! The highest criterion is an exciting, in part still undiscovered jazz scene, which deserves greater international recognition.
