Become Part of jazzahead! and Connect With Peers
jazzahead!, the world’s most significant annual jazz convention and festival in Bremen, Germany, connects you with the international scene. In 2025 around 3,300 professional participants from 66 nations were registered, coming from various fields of business activities like: artists, bookers, labels, agencies, festivals and more.
After registering you have access to the Showcase application forms and further information, as well as a list of attendees (who agreed to be shown there)
Participation Options 2026
As a professional of the jazz industry you can experience jazzahead! the way you like to.
Professional Participant
When you register as a professional participant you can choose between:
- all three of the packed days at jazzahead! (available from 1 September 2025) or
- one day (available from 20 December 2026)
full of conferences, panels, high-profile jazz concerts, networking events and exquisite foods & drinks.
Being part of a stand
Co-Exhibitor Option Discontinued
As of 2026 we do not offer a registration category co-exhibitor – if, however, you’re still wishing to come as part of e.g. an umbrella stand, please refer to the main exhibitor for instructions.
You Rather Want to Present Yourself With an Own Booth?
Naturally, you can also become an exhibitor and have your own stand. Please refer to the information on our Exhibitors page.
Conditions 2026
The online registration closes on 21 April 2026. After that, a walk-up registration is possible (an additional fee of €20,00 plus 19% VAT will be charged). Walk-up registrations can be made from 22 April 2026 online or on-site at the fair starting 23 April 2026.

1 Discount 2 is valid for members of DJU and students. A verification document (e.g. Student ID, membership certificate) not older than 12 months must be uploaded during the registration process.
Umbrella Stands
How to become part of an umbrella stand
Please note: During walk-up registration stand affiliation is not possible! Register yourselves before 21 April 2026. As of jazzahead! 2026, the co-exhibitor-participation is discontinued – we are all professionals.
In an attempt to clarify and avoid missunderstandings, we are refining participation options. The general participation option will be professional participant. However, you can still be affiliated to one of our many umbrella stands.
Instead of a fixed price as in the last years our exhibitors will be able to provide a 20% discount code on each rate for participants joining an umbrella stand. This even means Early Birds (until 8 October 2025) will save money compared to last year’s fixed price of €155.00 plus VAT – so secure your registration asap!
Please get in touch with the main exhibitor, who is organising the stand you want to join. They are provided with the necessary information, links and codes.
Our Own Umbrella Stands
More regions, countries and companies are represented under umbrella stands. Please contact the institution organizing your preferred stand for more information! Usually, the exhibitor is an export office, jazz federation or any other institution promoting jazz/music/culture abroad.
German Market
- for German musicians and their representatives, associations as well as other institutions from Germany
- the umbrella stand is part of the German Jazz Expo and is funded by the Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media
- the current registration fee for professionals is regularly discounted (minus 20%)

Bremen Convention Bureau
The Bremen Convention Bureau offers rooms in different price categories to all participants of jazzahead! 2026. Your benefit:
- All rates include breakfast
- All rooms can be cancelled (see cancellation terms)
- Payment will be made directly on site at the booked hotel
- Almost all hotels can be reached by foot from the venue; the distances can be found in the hotel overview
- Personal advice
All prices are fixed rates which we guarantee for 4 weeks before arrival (subject to availability). Afterwards there are only hotel rooms available with up-to-date rates.
Each room needs one booking process. Start via the booking button above. For individual hotel bookings up to five rooms add another booking by using the button “new hotel booking” at the end of each booking process.
